The meter's electrode is a combined electrode and should be kept moist - as all pH electrodes should be stored. You will need a small piece of sponge to insert into the cap of the AD meter and only a few drops of the solution on the sponge when you are not using the tester. If the cap is tightly closed, you only need to check sometimes whether the sponge has dried out or not. If so, put a few drops of the solution on the sponge again.
