Use: Like sugar, 70% sweetening power, 0 calories! Same shelf life. Erythritol has ? in contrary to stevia ? no specific aroma. Erythritol is an isolated sugar alcohol which is extracted and purified in multiple steps out of natural material (corn). It is therefore unimportant from which source the sugar comes as long as it is pure. A contamination with genetically modified material is therefore very unlikely. Nevertheless we do have the "Non GMO supply chain certificate". Erythritol powder is ideal for sweetening tea and coffee. For the daily intake after meals we recommend our optimally sized Xylimed® candies. Important note: Cakes with baker's yeast don't work with erythritol because erythritol inhibits growth of any yeast fungus. Our supplier is certified for all existing quality standards: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, HACCP, FDA, GMP, Kosher and Halal as well as NGO-supply-chain (production is completely free of genetically manipulated organisms).
