Xylimed® – health starts with the teeth.
Supplement for the targeted supply with prebiotic fiber for health enhancement. 100 candies with 300 g total weight = supply for one month. See X-Prebiose which builds up the intestinal flora about 10 times more effectively than inulin. Recommended daily intake: 3 candies (cover 18% of the recommended daily intake). Tooth-friendly, sugar free. Suitable for diabetics. Each candy contains 97% pure xylitol (3000 mg total weight). Available in different flavours: strawberry, orange, peach, banana, lemon. Natural flavour from pure juice.
Advantages over chewing gums:
Studies have shown that xylitol has its full effect only when starting from 6 grams daily. Dosages above 10 grams have no extra benefit. Moreover, it should stay in the mouth three times daily for 5 minutes. There should be no other bacteria nourishing sugar contained (like isomalt, sorbitol etc.)
The xylimed candies (97% xylitol) are portioned to meet above requirements exactly with only three candies per day.
The xylitol content of gums (if it is published at all) is so low that one would have to chew dozens. Their sweetness melts away in no time and what remains is a little "piece of a problem". Chewing releases an enormous flow of saliva (unnecessary digestive stimulation) and gums can cause massive jaw problems.
